Key Contributions

I provided real-time interpretation between English and Mandarin, conveying cultural nuance and emotional intent with precision. As a cultural bridge, I aligned jury perspectives across disciplines and global design standards, supporting the fair and thorough review of around 100 shortlisted international entries each year. I refined the multi-day evaluation workflow, harmonised frameworks for usability, storytelling, and user impact, and fostered a respectful environment for open, inclusive dialogue.

Results & Learnings

My contributions improved clarity, cultural sensitivity, and efficiency in jury discussions, enabling a smoother review process for around 100 shortlisted digital entries each year. Feedback from jury members highlighted the value of accurate interpretation and cultural context in reaching fair, well-informed decisions. The experience strengthened my facilitation skills in high-pressure, multicultural environments and earned me an invitation to return for a second consecutive year.
